Welcome to the Bahrain Tennis Federation
The Bahrain Tennis Federation is the official body responsible for the development and promotion of tennis in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We strive to provide an ideal sports environment that enables players of all age groups to practice tennis, while offering the necessary support to the national teams to represent the Kingdom in both local and international events.
Our Goals
Develop National Teams: Prepare junior boys’ and girls’ teams across different age groups (12, 14, 16, 18 years) and enhance their level to compete globally.
Enhance Professional Training: Attract professional coaches to develop players’ skills and improve technical and physical performance.
Increase International Participation: Empower players to compete in Gulf, Arab, and international tournaments to gain experience and growth.
Promote Tennis in the Community: Encourage clubs and academies to adopt tennis programs and attract more participants to the sport.
Empower Young Talents: Discover and nurture talented players to reach global rankings.
Develop Infrastructure: Upgrade courts and facilities to meet international standards and host major tournaments.
Support Women in Tennis: Strengthen the participation of Bahraini female players in local and international competitions.

Chairman of the Bahrain Tennis Federation
Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak bin Hamad Al Khalifa chairs the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Tennis Federation, leading the development of tennis in the Kingdom of Bahrain with an ambitious vision aimed at promoting the sport and enhancing its status at both local and international levels.
Sheikh Abdulaziz is committed to supporting national teams and providing all necessary resources to elevate the level of players, with a focus on attracting major sporting events that highlight Bahrain’s role as a global sports hub. He also strives to improve the infrastructure of tennis courts and nurture emerging talent, with special attention given to supporting women’s participation in sports.
Under his leadership, the Federation is implementing developmental strategies that include enhancing training, expanding the base of participants, and organizing local and international tournaments, all of which contribute to raising the standard of Bahraini tennis and achieving distinguished accomplishments.
